Gigi Valentin started her cake career at the age of eight when shefell in love with the world of Confectionary Arts. Her very first cake was under cooked. At such a young age and determined to get it right she began baking all the time for family and friends. Little did she know that her career would take such a huge turn around. She went to school in Colorado to study accounting and became a CPA. After a major company bought her contract out it gave her the opportunity to stay home and raise her son, and pursue her passion in baking.
During that time she decided to further her techniques and enroll in several different confectionary art classes for perfection. Since then she has expanded and became a Certified Confectionary Artist and a member of the Wilton Method Instructors for Wilton Industries. A mentor too many young individuals who are interested in becoming cake decorators, Author of LeGigis Bakery "favorite recipes volume 1", is a member of I.C.E.S "International Cake Exploration Societe". Now she finds herself the proud Owner and Designer of LeGigis Bakery.
Totally left with the feeling of completeness she's made a difference in someone's life. Encourages her students three important keys in life to remember...
#1 "there are no losers in life just the ones who fall and won't get back up". So get up!
#2 "there is no limits to your imagination in the world of confectionary arts". And with many of her students who have become successful, she is extremely proud and is remembered her passion leaves a legacy.
#3 "Don't lick your fingers" Sanitation is the number 1 importance in Confectionary Arts.
